`The earth is in our hands`:

Every person has heard this sentence but do we understand the purpose of it? Everybody says that we have to protect our habitat, the earth, but have we realized with which issues the environment fights? We hold the earth in our hands and have the choice of saving or destroying it.
The future depends on us.

Concerning this, we have to be aware of our role in the environment. We take too much from it and influence the ecological system. Even though nature gives us the opportunity to exist, we exploit it instead of protecting it. We are dependent on nature and the environment depends on our awareness.
There are many issues to consider here. Instead of using biodegradable and reusable products, we use plastic. Plastic consists of little microplastics. If we throw all the chemicals in the ocean, they will end in our water and they will be a part of the food chain. The majority of emissions is also produced by globalised transport. So, our cheap clothes are one of the reasons for environmental issues.
We have to regard, that we can do something to avoid the problems. There are several alternatives: Being abstain of plastic is very necessary. Also, using local products and visiting inland places is very helpful for the protection of nature.
Finally, we have an effect on the earth. We have to be interested in what we buy and where it comes from. If we are aware of our consumption, we will be able to change our future.
