Hey Leute,

ich hab in 2 Tagen mündliche Englisch-Prüfung.
Ich hab das Thema Australien und soll etwas über die Geschichte sagen.

Ich weiß, man lässt nicht einfach andere die arbeit für einen übernehmen, aber weil ich voll die flasche in Englisch bin, muss ich es einfach versuchen. Hoffe einer kann mir Helfen, dass hier in einfaches englisch zu übersetzten, also nur so ungefähr, nicht unbedingt alle details:

Erste dokumentierte Ankunft eines europäischen (niederländischen) Schiffes (in Nordaustralien).Wann die erste europäische Entdeckung Australiens erfolgte ist unklar, möglicherweise bereits im 16. Jahrhundert durch portugiesische Seefahrer. Der unwirtliche, ferne Kontinent wird von Europa lange ignoriert.

1770
Erste Besitzergreifung für die britische Krone durch Kapitän Cook. Nach Schätzungen lebten damals etwa 300.000 Aborigines in Australien.

1788
Das Land wird eine britische Sträflingskolonie (Ankunft der ‘First Fleet’ - von Häftlingsschiffen - in Sydney). Im Lauf der nächsten 80 Jahre werden etwa 160.000 Strafgefangene nach Australien deportiert.

Gründung sechs voneinander unabhängiger Kolonien: New South Wales 1788, Tasmania 1825 - zunächst genannt "Van Diemen`s Land"-, Western Australia 1829, South Australia 1836, Victoria 1851, Queensland 1859. Später kommen zwei Territorien hinzu (siehe unten).

1838
Beginn der deutschen Einwanderung, insbesondere nach Südaustralien, später vor allem nach Queensland. Eine weitere Immigrationswelle folgt in den 50er Jahren des 20. Jahrhunderts. Inzwischen gibt es nur noch wenige deutsche Auswanderer. Etwa 500.000 Australier haben deutsche Vorfahren und rund 120.000 deutsche Einwanderer der ersten Generation leben heute in Australien.

1901
Am 1. Januar Zusammenschluss der sechs Kolonien zum Commonwealth of Australia mit bundesstaatlicher Verfassung. 1911 wird das Northern Territory von Südaustralien abgetrennt. 1993 wird die Legislative Versammlung des Australian Capital Territory (ACT) eingerichtet und das Land um die Hauptstadt Canberra wird das ACT. Die australische Verfassung von 1901 verbindet Elemente der britischen und der amerikanischen Verfassung. Der Premierminister hat eine dominierende Stellung.

ab 1950
Immigrationswelle aus - neben Großbritannien - Italien, Griechenland und anderen süd- und osteuropäischen Ländern führt zur Ausprägung des heute Australien prägenden Multikulturalismus. Ab den siebziger Jahren - nach Ende der "white Australia policy" - kamen zunehmend Einwanderer aus Asien, insbesondere Vietnam und China, ins Land. Seit den fünfziger Jahren hat sich Australiens Bevölkerung verdoppelt.

Hat mich nur ma interessiert,weil dus so schnell übersetzt hast...
Habs mir auch nicht durchgelesen,aber hättest dus mit irgendnem Übersetzer übersetzt wären da mindestens 2000 Fehler,wollt ich dem Kerl dann nur ma gesagt haben xD

ich weiß, das beim übasetzer fehler drin sind.
habs meina sista geschickt, kp ob sies iwo übasetzt hat....sie hats mir nur so rübageschickt, und die kann engl.

Aber auch danke Tinschön, dass du dich Sorgen um die Prüfung von dem "kerl" machst :) Da sind garantiert weniger fehler, als würd ich das machen ^^

was isn das für ne englisch "prüfung" wo man weiß was man machen soll?
