In a hospital a nurse talks to Colm. She tries to teach him carefully that Bill has died on the way to the hospital. Colm is sad and schocked. He thought that Bill wouldn’t die. Colm tells the nurse that he doesn’t want go back to the house for orphans. She asks him why and he says that they are treated badly there. She tells him that they can look for a new house for orphans and that he may decide himself what he wants to do when he will be 18. This sounds like a good idea for him and Colm plans to go his own way when he is 18.
