The short story " A Pair of Jeans" is about a girl called Miriam who`s family has a pakistani background. Miriam lives in two different worlds. On the one hand she lives the muslim way of life but on the other hand she has adopted a western lifestyle.

Before her wedding her future in-laws see her with western clothes, so they`re shocked and cancel the wedding.
Miriam begins to live self-determined and rejects the muslim traditions by completely assimilate to British life-style.

Verbesserungen und Korrekturen sind erwünscht :)

ich würde schreiben

aber da sollte wohl besser wer drüber schaun ders besser kann als ich. :D

Danke, ja ich bin mir auch nicht ganz sicher in welcher Zeit man die Inhaltsangabe verfassen soll. Eigentlich ja im Präsens, aber der Inhalt, nämlich dass sie Miriam vor der Hochzeit so gesehen haben, ist ja Vergangenheit. Grübel Grübel.....
