Writing a summary

Hab ne frage kann mir jemand helfen?
Ich bin in der 12 Klasse Fachoberschule Sozialwesen und mzss in Englisch ein Summary zu dem thema "I lived on the net for a month" und dazu muss ich 130 Wörter schreiben :( leider bin ich ein totaler versager in Englisch :( und komm nicht so gut damit zu recht :/ währe schön wenn mir jemand helfen würde.
ich würde dann den Text per e mail schicken und währe sehr dankbar für die hilfe. Belohnung für hilfe 100 Credits

Is the internet really bringing a social revolution to everyday people`s everyday lives? And can low-tech people like me really learn to shop, bank and work from home? These are inportant questins because, if millions of us really become telecommuters and teleshoppers, it will be a revolution.
Sure, some people do some of these things some of the time now. What I`m talking abouth, though, is most people doing most of the time.
Think! Most local banks would shut and retailers would downsize or close their in-store operations, switching to e-tail. Millions would becomme redundant and have to learn new skills and, transport pressures would fall away as everyone started working in the back bedroom.
And what about us? Would our computer screens become our only friends? Would we lose our social skills?
As a true non-techie, I decided to see just how well I could live on the internet.`If I can, anyone can,` I thought.
Here`s what I found.


My first step was getting online. It took time to log onto my *ISP, and I needed their help line. But by the evening I had installed the basic software and that night I surfed and e-mailed friends till 2 a.m.
Next day, I went shopping online, straight to www.NetGrocer.com I began in the breakfest goods aisle and went on through canned foods,paper goods and so on. On the upside, international and speciality foods(Gourment, organic and diet) were available, and prices were competitive. On the dowside, there was no fresh food. And my shopping trip took two whole houers!
Fresh meat and fish were available, but at a heavy cost in time and money. I finally found my two 20-ounce steaks at www.OmahaSteaks.com - for $50.00! Still, they arrived in good condition, vacuum packed and still frozen, two days later. Internet shoppers, remember:plan that special meal well ahead of time! Than I came to banking and paying bills - and problems of security. To sign me up, my main bank wanted my Social Security number, but I didn`t understand why. They alredy had it! I refused. Happily, though, my other bank was able to help me.


All in all, my month on the net has opened up many worlds, but please, please don`t close down the Mall. I still need it!
