1. Martin Luther King grew up in Atlanta, a southern town in Georgia. His father was a well-known minister. He was teaching that all men are equal in God’s eyes.


2. King discovered very early that not everyone was thinking this way.

3. While King was studying at the college Ghandi become minister. He changed the system of the unfair laws without using violence And he learned how people of India can get free.

Martin Luther King decided to use the same ideas to help the blacks in America.

4. In 1954 Martin Luther King worked as minister in Montgomery, Alabama. The same year he said at the Supreme Court that all schools should be open for blacks and whites. In the south the Ku Klux Klan, a group of white racists, attacked black families.

5.In Montgomery the city officials refused to desegregater school. The blacs got angry about this other forms of segregatio, especially on buses. They decided to boycott buses in Montgomery. King helped to advise the protesters.

6. In 1956 the supreme court protesters fought for their rights. The segregation was everywhere in city, for instance buses. King delivered speeches to all over the USA to encouraged the people to protest against segregation only peacefully. In 1963 the police has attacked (?) many digs. 100 children were imprisoned and finally the white leaders have abolished the segregation in Birmingham

7. In 1963 more than 250,000 people were killed in Washington DC by supporting the equality for blacks. The speech which was delievered by the major influenced the nation and the president kennedy who send the Civil Rights bill to congress. In 1964 the civil rights bill has become the law and now the segregation is illegal in every state of the USA

8.soon after he received the Nobel prize for peace King has claimed to all people to involve into Civil Rights movement and give the most of the money to their groups and work very peacefully with equality

In the summer of 1967 the riots of cities, across the USA, King has insisted for non-violence actions and for stronger weapons. 7King have traveled from city to city to lead marches. 6 o’clock in evening on april 4th ,1968 the baloncy of motel rooms in Memphis. Tenessee the gunman James Earl fired from his rifle and King has fallen to the ground and died at 7 pm in hospital, when he was 39 years old

all over the world people talked about losing a special man who came from coffin-old farm wagon and streets of Atlanta. He was a symbol to concern the poverty. Over 100,00 people were left behind as well as the last march of freedom. On his grave they wrote the words as “Free at last! Free at last! thank God Almighty, I’m free at last”
