I have completely different experiences than those presented in the article.
During the pandemic, I had the opportunity to work in a private language school. Our situation was moderate, some parents allowed their children to attend school directly. It happened because the classes were held individually and the students had no possibility of contact with others. However, there were cases where parents decided to study remotely. In such situations, when the family was in quarantine, the student had a cold or they wanted to maintain the sanitary regime. In the case of face-to-face classes, the students did not show discouragement. All the assumed goals of the classes were achieved, with which the teacher and parents were satisfied. In the case of distance learning, there were no problems with students in grades 7-8 and secondary schools, while students in grades 4-6 created teaching problems. They turned off microphones, cameras, and did not obey commands. Due to the fact that our school does not judge myself, I followed the planned topic, and the course of my work was archived on the platform. The owner of the school reserved the right not to be responsible for the behavior of the students on the other side of the camera.
