Korrektur einer Definition

Hallo,
Ich habe nächste woche eine mündliche prüfung und soll dort eine definiton über den American dream vorstellen.
Bitte um korrektur da ich nicht die beste in Englisch bin...

I would talk about the American Dream. At first we have no one
specific definition about the american dream because everyone have his own definition or dream.A life of personal happiness and material comfort as traditionally sought by individuals in the US. People go to America because the ideals of freedom,equality and opportunity tradionally held to be availble to every American. Immigration is included because peopel from other countries go to America. A famous symbole for the American Dream is the statue of Liberty, in a song about the statue they say "Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free" . The goal is to be success and earn a lot of money but this is not easy beacuse the side effect of this dream are psychological problems. America is famous for her Independence, also referrd to as the fourth of july in the US is a federal holiday commemorating the adoption of the Declaration of Independence 241 years ago. It declared that the thirteen American colonies regarded themselve as a new nation, the united states of America, and were no longer part of the British empire. The truth is the American Dream is now the American Nightmare the reason for this is prosperity,side effect psychological problems because the people have a lot of to be under pressure. At the end you can ask yourself is the American dream my dream or can it be my Nightmare ? is it possible to life the American Dream?
