I often lost good friends or my mum and my dad. This is very hard Your problem is very difficult. I can`t really help you with your problem, but I can say you some sentences, how you feel better. At the first your grandma haven`t to die. Maybe she alive. You said that the doctors weren`t sure. The important is you already have your family. And your grandma is a really brave women.
