Hallo :) wir müssen in Englisch morgen eine Rede halten und ich möchte möglichst eine gute Note erhalten. Wäre nett wenn ihr euch meine Rede mal durchlesen könntet und mich auf Fehrler hinweisen könntet. Danke schon mal

(Das Thema konnten wir uns aussuchen)

The police in Germany registers 1 Million cases of street crime in only one Year. In which many of these cases could have been prevented by intervention of the population. Because many of them happen in the public. How often does it happen to yourself where you sees people in difficulties but you doesnt intervene because you are afraid to become involved in it and you dont have the courage to speak up against somebody. You are right I speak about Civil Courage. Which is often missed in the population. But Civil Courage is also missed in the small circle of the friends. If one is bullying an other in front of the whole group you mostly not have the courage to say something, although you know as badly the other feels. You remain rather quietly so you doesnt become the victim, right?
But its so important to speak up an unfair behavior, so you not only helps a person your self confidence get also pushed by succeses. Since if you have released a person from his predicament you can feel like a small hero, because you can be sure that you have saved the day of another person. Honestly everybody wants help when their are in trouble, right? Certainly you must be careful wehre and all about like you intervene. If you see somebody is beaten up by five persons and you are alone, its too dangerous to intervene. Its better to ask other people for help an to call the police. Its very important that you never endangered yourself! The main thing ist o intervene and to prevent the worse. Its sadly that the people often look away if someone else have difficulties. Think! How would you feel, if you be threatened by somebody at the busstop and ten other people only watch what happen, but nobody helps you. How would you feel?
I think everybody wants help, so yourself must start helping and you must also request others to help. Only together we can stop the crime! Have the Courage to speak up and show civil courage!
Thank you for listening, I hope you think about it and start civil courage!

Ich hab es mal Satz für Satz angeschaut und etwas - vielleicht auch für Dich einfacher zu lernen bis morgen - umgebaut.

  • The police in Germany registers 1 Million cases of street crime in a single year (in einem einzigen Jahr),
whereby many of them could have been prevented if the population would have stepped in (eingegriffen hätten).
  • How often does it happen/occur to you that you recognize people in difficulties but you don’t intervene because you are afraid of getting involved and you don’t have the courage to react.
  • As you can hear, I am talking about civil courage, which is often missing in today’s life, even in the inner circle of friends.
  • If one bullies around a group you mostly don’t have the courage to say something, although you know how bad the other feels.
  • Isn’t it more that you remain quiet in order not to risk being the next victim, right?
  • But it’s so important not to tolerate unfair behaviour, so you not only help a person, but your self confidence also may get strengthened in cases of success.
  • For if you helped people out of a mess you may feel like a little hero, by being sure that you have saved the day of another person.
  • Honestly, everybody wants help people who are in trouble!
  • Of course you must be careful where and most of all how you intervene.
  • If you see somebody is beaten up by five persons and you are alone, it’s too dangerous to intervene. Its better to ask other people for help and/or to call the police.
  • It’s very important that you never put yourself in danger!
  • The main thing is to intervene and preventing the worst.
  • However, regrettably most of the people look away if someone gets into trouble.
  • Think about it, how you would feel, if you were threatened by somebody at the bus stop and ten other people only watch what happens without helping you?
  • I think everybody wants to help, so you must start and also request others to help.
  • Only together we can stop the crime!
  • Have the courage to speak up and show civil courage!
  • Thank you for listening, I hope you think about it and start civil courage!
