nonsense words?
Frage: nonsense words?(5 Antworten)
Nonsense Words? In the following sentences the words written in capital letters are „nonsense“ words which have been carefully invented for this test: Read the sentence carefully and consider them in relation to each other. This sentence is written on a piece of DRURB. Most DRURB, like snow, is OSGRAVE. Cats are domestic NINGLES. Polar bears, which are OSGRAVE NINGLES, live where there is CRIDDLETON. If you set light to DRUB; it FIRTLES. If you pour NARG over FIRTLING DRURB, the flames will go out. If you put CRIDDLETON into hot NARG, it will FRUME. CRIDDLETON FRUMES at a BAZOOTA over zero degrees Celsius. NARG BOOBLES at a BAZOOTA of 100 degrees Celsius. We FRIZE BAZOOTAS with a NAST. The FRIZING of a student’s REPOTENESS is extremely GURP. It is, however, reasonable to PERUDE that the REPOTER the student, the GURPER the questions he will be able to SPRIME. (watch out, you have to fill in the basic word forms into the given table/chart) DRURB OSGRAVE NINGLE CRIDDLETON FIRTLE NARG FRUME BAZOOTA BOOBLE FRIZE NAST REPOTENESS GURP PERUDE REPOTE SPRIME |
