Englisch - The "Crown-in-Parliament"

Hallo,

brauche wieder einmal jemanden der für mich korrektur lesen tut :D
Es geht (wie man unschwer erkennen kann) um das Crown in Parliament, also wären grundkenntnisse von Vorteil, im Großen und Ganzen aber ist nur mein Englisch zu verbssern und nicht der Kern :)

Role of the Monarch

To begin with, the King or Queen reigns but does not rule, which means that the monarch has no overt political power, but on the other hand nothing can be done without his consent.

The Monarchs part of the government system is of formal and representative nature.

---> He [the monarch] acts on the advice of his minister, which he cannot ignore.

But still all ministers and officers of the government are his servants.


The legislative authority of Parliament

The legislative authority is jointly constituted by the Crown, the House of Lords, and the House of Commons.
So, this Parliament possesses unlimited legal authority over all matters, persons, and territories within its jurisdiction. It’s important to underline this, because it’s important to know that even the Parliament, has to follow the rules.
The British Monarchy can endure only if it fulfills the conditions upon which it exists. (Passt dieser Satz da rein?)


The Cabinet

Firstly, who is in and what is the Cabinet?

Well, the Cabinet is a small group of ministers of the Crown chosen mostly from the leaders of the majority party in the House of Commons.
This “inner circle” of the government is responsible to look after the policies agreed on by the leadership of the majority party are carried out.

Another interesting thing to mention is the fact, that the majority of bills are introduced by the Cabinet, which underlines a trend towards an increasing control of the Cabinet over the legislative power.


No built-in constitutional checks

The authority is only checked by public opinion. There are no built-in constitutional checks, which I think is very special.
(Hier will ich sagen dass es mich erstaunt hat dass die keine checks durchnehmen. Ich weiß aber nicht wie ich das schön in abschließender form sagen soll.)
