My project is about: Kurt Cobain the legend - important moments in his life
I have chosen this topic because I think he was one of the greatest musicians and he’s still liked by many people. Therefore,
I want that everybody knows something about his whole life, not only that he is dead.

Kurt Donald Cobain was born in Aberdeen, Washington on the 20th Febuary 1967. He found his passion to music early in his life and started to sing beatles songs like “hey jude”, when he was only two years old. At the age of eight Kurt Corbains parents Wendy and Donald divorced. He stayed with his mother in Aberdeen and with the seperation of his parents, he got psychic problems. Kurt was as a child hyperactiv and had to take medicine, which side effects caused him sleepless nights. He already familiarized himself with death, when he was young, because two uncles and a boy from his neighbourhood commited suicide.
Later he moved to his father, because he didn’t liked the partner of his mum. His father also got together with a new girlfriend, so the relationships to his parents got worser. With 15 years he met Kris Novoselic with whom he made music together. They wanted to build a band together. The members often had been changed. Finally the band consisted of Kurt Cobain, Kris Novoselic, Buzz Osborne and Dave Grohl. After some name changes, they called the band “Nirvana”. Jack Endino was impressed and took “Nirvana” in his new created label “Sub Pop” under contract.
In the same year the first single “Love Buzz” appeared.
1989 the first “nirvana” – album with the title “bleach” was released. With the success of the album Nirvana became very popular. When the album “Nevermind” appeared, it caused sensation in the musicbusiness and it was sold more than 10 million time. The single “smells like teen spirit” even became a youth hymn.
At a club in Los Angeles Kurt met Courtney Love from the band “hole”.
Cobain and Courtney married in February 1992 on Hawaii and in the same year their daughter Frances Bean Cobain was born.
In the end of the year 1992 released the third album “Incesticide” has been.
Cobain suffered already very early on stomach problems. When it got worse during their tours, he made the first experiences with drugs.
These drugs brought him relief from the pain.
In 1993 the last album “In Utero” appeared. The title was: “I hate myself and I want to die.”
On the 4th March 1994, Kurt had been rushed to hospital after his unsuccessful suicide with a cocktail of drugs and champagne. Days later, in the 5th April, he barricaded himself into the garage behind his house and put, after taking a overdose of drugs, a shotgun in his mouth and pulled the trigger.
He was found by an electrician 3 days later, next to him there was a letter of saying goodbye to his family and friends.
After his dead, Nirvana existed no longer. Krist and Dave are still playing in some other bands.
Regarding to this sad incidence, many teenagers commited suicide like their idol Kurt Cobain.
