A mystery murder

Monday morning , the police found a dead body in a hotel room in Miami Florida.
The staff of the hotel called the police immediately. They are sure it was murder. At the crime scene the police found none evidence. The only evidence they found was the weapon. The weapon is a knife which was stuck in the dead bodys chest. An employee told the police that the victim was Joel Hunter. Mr.Hunter was one of the owners of a huge computer firm, named Netcorp. He was on a short business trip. The police also found a dead body of Robbie Hunter, the nephew of Joel Hunter. His body was found in a wardrobe of the appartment. Next to him was a paper, but it wasn’t any word on this paper. It didn’t give any witnesses, because his nephew was the only one, who flew with him on this trip. The door was look. The people who killed the two had the key of their appartement. The police aren’t sure but the murderer is one of the staff in the hotel.

    entweder A Murder Mystery = eine Krimigeschichte
    oder A Mysterious Murder = Ein geheimnisvoller Mörder

  2. Ich habe die Sätze 2 + 3 verbunden, um die richtige Reihenfolge herzustellen.
    Dabei nehme ich an, dass das Personal die Leiche zuerst gefunden und dann sofort die Polizei benachrichtigt hat…     also:
     Monday morning the staff of a hotel in Miami, Florida found a lifeless body in one of their rooms and called the police immediately.
  3. At their crime scene investigations the officers found none evidence. <= Widerspruch – entweder haben sie was gefunden oder nichts! => The only evidence they found was the weapon.
  4. Es bietet sich auch an, die Sätze 4 + 6 in einen Satz zu packen:
     The weapon is a knife which was stuck in the dead body’s chest, wherefore they are sure it was murder.
  5. An employee told the police that the victim’s name was Joel Hunter.
  6. Mr.Hunter was one of the owners of a huge computer firm, named Netcorp.
  7. He was on a short business trip.
  8. The policemen also found the dead body of Robbie Hunter, the nephew of Joel Hunter in a wardrobe of the apartment.
  9. There are no witnesses, because the nephew was the only person, who accompanied his uncle on his trip.
  10. The door was locked.
  11. The person who has killed the two Hunters must have had the key to their apartment.
  12. The police isn’t sure, but the murderer must be one of the hotel staff.
