Why do we get bullied?
There are too many people who have the issue to treat everyone equally.
The big problem about getting bullied is that you get bullied for who you are. Sometimes it’s because of your race, sexual orientation, weight and even clothes which is wrong. These are mostly their reasons even if they don’t want to admit it. The victims don’t want to tell anyone who can help them out of the situation because they are even more scared that the offenders could do worse things to them. Another reason is that they are too embarrassed to tell anyone which is comprehensible. They try to hide their sad facade and show only the fun side of their personality to their friends or parents. The sad part about this whole situation is that too many people try to hurt themselves because they think it’s their fault which is not true. It also leads to suicide.

Differences between bullying in other countries
I never thought about the difference between bullying in America to Austria but after many researches I’ve found out that there are actually too many. The biggest difference is that the students go too wild and don’t think about the limit and the consequences in American schools. After a small argument they already trash one another. In Austria they at least try to get over the argument and find a solution. The more popular people there don’t respect the others while here they try to get well with each other. Every student gets bullied there in some kind of time in their High School life’s.

How does it affect us?
The bullying mostly affects the academic life of the students. Sometimes they study so much and put their anger in other ways instead of fighting back while others can’t study and don’t know what else to do. They feel left out and are just too sad. They don’t know what to do and can’t handle these situations and just cry or hurt themselves which is the most selected way. These kids think that that’s their fault in some kind of way and trying to change is the only chance to get through this rough time. Mostly they cut themselves or sometimes do suicide. There are also cases where the pupils slowly got into depression and they think that it’s not okay for them to be happy and they don’t deserve it.

Ich hoffe jemand könnte mir dies schnell kontrollieren :)
