Kann jemand mir diesen Text korrigieren ?
Es geht mir eher um sprachliche Korrektur.
 
The newspaper article " x" that was published on 26 April 2007,  in the newspaper "Time" and written by x , deals with the importance of Jamestown for the history of America.
 
The article can be divided into four parts.
The first part ( ll.
1-22) explains the voyage from London to America , which took four month , and the importance of the happenings after Jamestown`s settlement for the American history.
 
The next part (ll.23-70) is about the problem of overpopulation , unemployment and poverty which were reasons for the emigration from England to America. The challenges that had to be faced by the colonists are listened up as the incompetence of finding sustenance and handle with social problems, the conflict with local Indians who attacked the colonists when they arrived and the not existing of much gold in America ea believed.
 
The next part (ll. 71-115) explains the conflic between colonists and natives that caused the death of many settlers who were not given food by natives and revenged themselves when ships from England came .Moreover the solution for better living conditions with the engagement of religious outcasts which later led to a religious pluralism in America is stressed.The author mentions the successfull tabacco growers and the african labor source which hepled to improve the social problems.
 
The last paragraph (ll. 116-150) is about the founding of the general assembly of Jamestown and the second " starving time"  where natives killed colonists  because of the colonists success of that they were jealous .
 
To sum up , Jamestown has been the initialplace where the current problems of  America  appeared first and continue .
