Brauche Hilfe bei meiner Gedichtsanalyse von The Oldest L...

Hallo :)
Ich muss in Englisch eine Analyse von dem Gedicht "The Oldest Living Thing in L.A." von Larry Levis schreiben, weiß aber nicht so recht was ich noch, außer meiner schon bereits herausgefunden Dinge schreiben könnte.
Hier erstmal das Gedicht:

1At Wilshire & Santa Monica I saw an opossum
2Trying to cross the street. It was late, the street
3Was brightly lit, the opossum would take
4A few steps forward, then back away from the breath
5Of moving traffic. People coming out of the bars
6Would approach, as if to help it somehow.
7It would lift its black lips & show them
8The reddened gums, the long rows of incisors,
9Teeth that went all the way back beyond
10The flames of Troy & Carthage, beyond sheep
11Grazing rock-strewn hills, fragments of ruins
12In the grass at San Vitale. It would back away
13Delicately & smoothly, stepping carefully
14As it always had. It could mangle someone’s hand
15In twenty seconds. Mangle it for good. It could
16Sever it completely from the wrist in forty.
17There was nothing to be done for it. Someone
18Or other probably called the LAPD, who then
19Called Animal Control, who woke a driver, who
20Then dressed in mailed gloves, the kind of thing
21Small knights once wore into battle, who gathered
22Together his pole with a noose on the end,
23A light steel net to snare it with, someone who hoped
24The thing would have vanished by the time he got there.

und hier meine Ansätze:
- kein Reimschema
- 1 Strophe mit 24 Versen
- narrative poem
- opossum is caught by people
- wants to cross the street, but there is too much traffic --> means danger for the opossum
- it can`t live in the modern city
- exists million years ago
- das Gedicht ist in drei Teile geglidert:
Teil 1: (Z.1-6) pity for the opossum
Teil 2: (Z.7-16) people get to know more about it
Teil 3: (Z.17-24) wish to get rid of it
- personification (Z.4-5) "the breath of moving traffic"


findet vllt jemand noch andere stilmittel oder iwas, was noch in die Analyse gehört?
