James Cameron`s "Titanic" is a dramatic romance about the maiden voyage of the R.M.S. Titanic. This ship was the largest moving object at her time. It was the most luxurious liner of the area before the first World War –also called the "ship of dreams" -- which ultimately claimed the life over 1,500 people in the ice cold waters of the North Atlantic in the early hours of April 15,

84 years after this accident, a 100-year-old woman named Rose DeWitt Bukator tells the whole story to her granddaughter, from the departure until the end of the Titanic of her (2) first and last voyage.
In 1912, Rose boards the ship with her fiancé Cal and her mother, Ruth DeWitt Bukaterin England. Rose`s mother presses her to marry Cal, because he has a lot of assets. But Rose doesn’t love him, and eventually sees no way out.
Rose triesto commit suicide by jumping off the railing of the ship. A drifter and artist named Jack Dawson intervenes and persuades her not to jump. Jack and Rose fall in love.
Jack is invited by Cal as a sign of his gratitude to a dinner in the first class and later Jack shows her his world in the third class.
Cal and Ruth forbid Rose to see Jack, but she acts against their wishes and meets him at the bow of the ship, where they kiss for the first time. They then go to Rose`s stateroom and she asks the artist Jack to draw a picture of her. The young woman wears nothing, only a necklace which is called the Heart of the Ocean. It is a present of Cal. When they are almost discovered by Cal`s bodyguard [---], the two flee into the ship`s cargo hold. In a [---] car, Rose and Jake make love.
Afterwards they witness the ship`s collision with an iceberg and overhear the ship`s officers and designers [---] discussing the seriousness of this impact. Rose tells Jake that they should warn her mother and Cal.
Cal discovers Jack`s drawing and a note in his safe along with the necklace. For this reason Cal puts the Heart of the Ocean into Jack`s coat pocket to frame him for [---] burglary. Jack is arrested. Rose doesn’t want to get into a rescue boat without Jake and so she frees him.
After they are back on deck,Cal persuades Jack to use another boat. Realizing that there is no further boat for Jack, Rose returns back on board of the Titanic. Cal takes a pistol and chases them into the flooded first-class dining saloon.
Then Cal returns to the ship deck and boards [---] a lifeboat.
As Jack and Rose come back to the deck, there are no more lifeboats and passengers are falling off the deck to [---] death.
Jack helps Rose onto a nearby wall panel that will only support one person’s weight.
Jack remaines in the cold water. Whenhelp comes, Jack has already been frozen to death. Rose is one of the few passengers who are be saved.
At the next morning Cal is searching for her among the survivours, but he doesn’t recognize her. Nobody finds her because she has named herself Rose Dawson.
