Brauche Hilfe zum Englisch Referat - "The Simpsons" !

Hallo erstmal :) Ich muss am Donnerstag ein Referat über die Simpons halten - und das auf Englisch. Da Englisch nicht mein Fach ist brauch ich Hilfe !(Ich gehe in die FOS 11W) Das Referat muss um die 10 Min. dauern. & dazu hab ich mir überlegt eine Powerpointpräsentation zu machen, damit auch bisschen was Abspicken kann:P Bräuchte unbedingt Korrektur und verbesserungsvorschläge! (Hauptsächlich geht es nicht um die Serie selbst, sondern allg. wie diese Sozialkritisch erscheint etc.)

At first I will show you the song. (Lied abspielen) | “The-Simpsons” is a 20th Century Fox production. You know this company from movies like Dr. Doolittle, Romeo & Juliet and Titanic or Series like Beverly Hills 90210. |
“The Simpsons” was created by the cartoonist Matt Groening in 1987. At first it was a serial of 30-Second spots for the FOX-serial “The Tracy Ullman Show”. |
In December 1989 started the prime-time-serial “The-Simpsons”. Since then, it runs weekly on Pro 7. The Simpsons have gotten as much as 24 Emmy-Awards. |
The Simpsons presented a revolutionary new combination of humoristic comic strips and direct social criticism of American society. Another reason for its success is that Simpsons represent normal and average American society, everything in the series is ordinary.|
The author Matt Groening intended to criticise society by showing it how average it really is. Nothing in the series is invented, everything and everybody does exist.
“Springfield” for example is the most used name for cities in America. |
Homer and Marge are the names of Matt Groening’s parents, the teachers in Springfield’s school have the same names as Matt’s former teachers. Everybody exists in reality. |
In the Serial Groening broaches many different themes and social problems like the power of the mass media, mostly criticised by the brutal comic strips of “Itchy & Scratchy” and the action films of “Rainer Wolfcastle”, the personified action hero like Arnold Schwarzenegger or Silvester Stallone. The author also criticizes industry and its attitude towards the environment. |
Another critical point for Groening is the security system in the U.S A., no wonder that Springfield’s policemen are all corrupt and open to bribery
These are only a few of the points of criticism Groening mentions in the Series, for example are illegal immigration, child-violence, the right to bear arms and many more. The variety of the people and of the topics makes “The Simpsons” worthwhile.

Ich weiß, dass es etwas kurz ist, aber ich denke mal so dass wenn ich die PP-Präsentation hab und bisschen drum herum rede, werden des knappe 10 Min. Bräuchte es SCHNELLSTENS ! am besten morgen damit ich es noch lernen kann!
