She sits at the window again, reading the letter she never sent to Frank.
While she is reading it, she feels sad, weak and tired.
Dear Frank,
you made a big difference in my life, because you wanted to go away with me to Buenos Aires so that I could have a better life there and put all bad remembrance behind me. But I could not come with you and this is why I write you this letter. Everything went too fast. It struck me right away that I did not really think of the idea of getting married. I think you do not have to much care for responsibility, because you are a sailor and always sailing everywhere. I know that we belong together and love each other, but I am apprehensive about our future and this is why I did not leave with you for Buenos Aires.

Why did she arrive at a decision to stay? What would Frank have done if she had sent him the letter? She will never no. And with these questions in her head she fell asleep.
