hab wiedermal was auf englisch formuliert & es wäre lieb wenn sich dass mal jmd.
anschauen & überprüfen würde.

Ant and his father have a bad relationship, because nobody knows enough about the other. You can see in it that, Ant is not able to know things about early trips with his Dad. Or the thing that Ant’s Dad doesn’t know that Ant don’t eat mandarins, because he hate this since he was a baby. Another fact is that Ant’s father boast very often about the things that he learned when he was a scout but actually the story shows that he’s not so intelligent that he said about himself. Actually you can see this in the story where they go off the way and are lost, because if he were a Scout, he’d have a compass. So I believe the two don’t know much about the other. In the text you can see also that Ant don’t want to say to his father the thing with the sleeping back because he don’t know how his father could react (because he don’t know enough about him). I believe there are two ways how the relationship between those two could end. At first the two could be like best friends or second they could live their life than now.
