Ungewwöhnliche Zeit. Aber leider ist das bei uns jetzt dran. Kann mal jemand Kontrolle leesen.

Christmas is our family feast. Everything is contemplative and we have much more time than in the other months.
Four weeks before Christmas an Advent wreath with 4 candles will be erected, one more of which will be lit on every Advent Sunday from now on. For the children there is an Advent calendar, which should shorten the time until Christmas Eve.
An important day during the pre-Christmas period is St. Nicholas Day on 06 December, when boots and shoes are filled with small gifts and treats.

Three weeks before Christmas my grandma bakes Christmas stollen and we bake cookies.

In the morning of Christmas Eve the Christmas tree is set up in the parlour, which we decorate together with Christmas baubels, lights and tinsel. We listen to Christmas carols and the children sing along. Around 17. 00 o`clock it goes then into the church. After that there is a present with big and small presents.

On the first and second Christmas day the relatives come to visit.
