Hi,
kann mir jemand mein essay verbessern? Vielen Dank :)

introduction: It probably is the UK’sbiggest and most contentious balance sheet – the cost and benefit analysis ofmembership of the European Union.
A rguments have raged about the assets and drawbacks of being in the EU sincethe day Britain joined in 1973. There are even voices asserting that thecountry isn’t even part in the EU by now due to not having the Euro as currencyor the like. In the following it will be shown why the UK should stay in theEuropean Union.
main body: For one thing the EU is the UK’smain trading partner with approximately 50% of the British total trade. Only bymeans of this market Britain became a location of investment and also had agrowth of trade and industry. By not being a member of the EU, the UK wouldlose lots of beneficial trade deals such as not paying customs duties. By thepoorer economic situation lots of jobs will be lost and could cause emigrationto other European countries. Another point is that a lot ofinfluence would be lost by leaking from the EU. Stripped of influence in forexample Brussels, Britain would find itself increasingly ignored by Washington andsidelined on big transnational issues such as the environment and the security, also because America and other allies want the UK to stay in the EuropeanUnion.
conclusion: In conclusion you can see thatthe advantages in trade and transnational influence overweigh the disadvantages, which are for instance immigration. In my point of view the UK should remain inthe EU and put its power to a greater extent in reforming the union. You alsoshould keep in mind that the UK has a special position in the EU like alreadymentioned in the beginning and is not similar to all the other Europeancountries.  It is probably the biggest and most controversial balance sheet in the Uk: the cost and benefit for/of membership of the European Union. Discussions have raged due to the assets and drawbacks since the day Britain joined the EU in 1973. There are even theses asserting that the country isn’t even a part of the EU by now due to not being component of the Euro zone. In the following I will demonstrate why the UK should stay in the European Union.
First of all,
the EU is the UK’s main trading partner with approximately 50% of the British total exchange rate. Only by means of this market Britain became an attractive partner of investment and also had a growth of trade and industry. By leaving this community the UK would lose lots of beneficial trade deals such as not paying customs duties. With a poorer economic situation lots of jobs will be lost and could cause emigration to other European countries. Moreover, a lot of influence would be lost by leaking from the EU. Stripped of influence in for example Brussels, Britain would find itself increasingly ignored by Washington and sidelined on big transnational issues such as the environment and the security, also because the US and other allies would prefer the UK staying a member of the European Union.
In conclusion you can see that the advantages of trading and transnational influence overweight the disadvantages, which are eventually  immigration. In my point of view the UK should remain in the EU and put its power to a greater extent in reforming the union. You also should keep a fact in mind that the UK has a special position in the EU like already mentioned in the beginning and is not similar to all the other Europea ncountries.
