Frage: Englische Kurztexte - Verbesserung

Könntet ihr vlt mal über die folgenden Texte drüber gucken und mir beim verbessern helfen ;)
Habe nämlich bei einigen Jahreszahlen zur Geschichte von Australien kurze Zusammenfassungen geschrieben:

More than 40, 000 years ago:
The Aborigines and other indigenous have lived in Australia for at least 40, 000 years (It is controversial when the settlement started, but mostly it is said that it was between 32, 000 and 60, 000 BC.
So the exactly time when they settled in Australia is unknown ) .These people came from south- east Asia.


1688 – 1698:
A British explorer, called William Dampier came to the West Coast of Australia and make the first explorations on the land.


1793:
Because of famine, diseases and many other things the first free settlers came to Australia.


1860:
Robert Burke and William Wills led an expedition, which took almost five months. On this expedition they crossed Australia from south to north.


1945-2000:
In 1945 Australia becomes a founding member of the UN. In the early 1990s, more than half of the immigrants settling in Australia were from Asia.


2008:
Australia`s prime minister Kevin Rudd apologised to the Stolen Generations and the Aborigines.

Falls ihr noch ein paar mehr Informationen zu den einzelnen Jahreszahlen hättet, wäre auch gut.

Als ich über Australien in Englisch gesprochen habe, haben wir gesagt, dass:


More than 40,000 years ago
sie aus Afrika gekommen sind, nicht aus Asien.

1688-1698
ich würde vorher sagen, dass die Portugiesen es entdeckt haben, aber nicht es "coloniziert" haben.
(ich bin aus Portugal, aber habe es schon gemacht, und es steht hier http://www.aushistorytimeline.com/ , dass Queirós dort war, und es entdeckt hat)

1793
es ist richtig, und ich habe garnichts zu sagen.

1945-2000
es ist auch richtig.




TIPP
Warum sagt du nicht, dass die Männer die nach Australien gekommen sind, es "outlaws" and "men in prison" waren? es ist sehr wichtig.

zu 1) du MUSST erwähnen, dass 1770 James Cook die Ostseite Australiens entdeckte und das Land für die engl. Krone in Besitz nahm, und dass die Engländer ab 1787 Gefangene aus brit. Gefängnissen nach Australien dportierten, weil ihnen die bis dahin übliche Möglichkeit der Deportation nach Amerika durch den Verlust der Kolonien und die Staatsgründung der USA genommen war.

zu 2) schreibe nie, nie nie in einem Prüfungstext "and many other things": entweder, du weißt, was diese "other things" sind, dann schreibe sie hin, denn ansonsten täuschtst du nur (nicht vorhandenes) Wissen vor.

zu 3) weiß denn jeder, der den Text liest oder hört, was mit "Stolen
Generation" gemeint ist?

okay ;)
in unserem englischbuch, stand jedoch south-east asia - werde also wahrsch. das lassen.
Aber danke für die Tipps und Fehlerverbesseung :)- Aber warum heist es

ja, many other things weis ich was damit gemeint ist und stolen generations haben wir auch schon besprochen..


Die 10 Credits bekommt wahrsch. ha.lo (weil er mich besser verbessert hat, und mir auch so etw. mehr weitergeholfen hat-vielen Dank aber trotzdem an die anderen )
werde aber wohl noch bis heut abend warten, vlt. kommen ja noch andere antworten !

Könntet auch gerne noch etw. hinzu fügen. :)
außerdem werde ich auch noch gucken wer mir vlt noch in meinem anderen Thread : Penal colonies in Australia / Convicts in Australia weiter helfen könnte - das würde eure chancen auf die 10 credits noch erhöhen :D

exact ist hier richtig, weil vor dem Nomen "time" ein Adjektiv stehen muss.

"exactly" als Adverb würde ein Verb näher bestimmen (z.B. he speaks exactly like his father: "wie" spricht er?)
