Ich hab mal meine ganze Präsentation übersetzt,
bin aber total unsicher, ob das so auch stimmt.

"OC California" is a drama television series that was shown on 05 Aug 2003 to 2007 by the American television channel Fox and in Germany found his time on VOX. In the United States, the tv series had the title "The OC", which stands for the District of Orange County south of Los Angeles. In "OC California" the life of the young people and adults in the coastal city of Newport Beach stays in the foreground.

The creator of `OC California` is the American screenwriter and television producer Josh Schwartz. He was born in 1976 in Providence, Rhode Island. (The tv series was first called "Orange County". But one year before was previously released a film entitled, so the series was renamed "OC California".) He currently resides in Los Angeles.

The main characters :

Ryan Atwood comes from Chino. He has a big brother, Trey.
Chino is a bad neighborhood that is dominated by alcohol and crime.His father went to jail and his mother was an alcoholic.

Marissa Cooper grows up happily with her younger sister at her parents in a grand mansion in Newport. She always got everything she wanted because her parents were very rich. She is awarded for a long time, but when Ryan appears in her life everything changed ...

Summer Roberts also grows up in Newport. She lives as an only child with her father and stepmother in a large villa. Her best friend is Marissa. She turns out from a party girl to a true lady.

Seth Cohen is also an only child. He has a good relationship with his parents, but has any friends. He loves comic books. Ryan will be his brother and his best friend.

Ryan Atwood is a teenager which comes from a poor family. After he and his brother Trey had stolen a car they been caught from the police. They took Ryan to his lawyer Sandy Cohen, then he went home with him to his wealthy family in Orange County. Sandy`s wife Kirsten Cohen, the perfect wife, mother and businesswoman, is not exactly happy about the idea at first, and feared a bad influence on her son, Seth Cohen. Ryan made a fast friendship with Seth and learns that the dazzling world in Orange County, isn`t as it seems. His feelings for the beautiful and rich neighbor`s daughter Marissa Cooper always lead to difficult situations. Children have secrets from their parents, as well as parents keep secrets from their children. Although Ryan is way around more and more into the world of Orange County, he is overtaken by his past again and again. The illusory world of the rich and beautiful people.

The End :

"OC California" ended after four seasons and 92 episodes. Series makers Josh Schwartz and the Fox television stations were against a continuation of the series.
