History:
Volleyball was developed in 1895 from William G.
Morgen, sports director of the YMCA in Holyoke, Massauchusetts. Volleyball is a part of the olympic games since 1964. The name „Volleyball“ was invented in 1952 at the conference of all YMCA sports directors. The leading nation are Brazil, Italy, Serbia, China and Russia.


About the game

The pitch is 9m long and big, the attacking zone is in front of the net. It is a game with 6 people per team, one delivery (3), two assailants (2, 4) and three defenders (1, 5, 6). In the middel of the pitch is a 2,35m high net. You get a point if some player from the other site takes a mistake.

- You can play the ball three times before he fly over the net
- A game is play over three winning records with 25 points
