Frage: Englisch Collage(8 Antworten)
Unsere Aufgabe lautet wie folgt: Make a collage oh things that symbolics the USA & the american way of life for you. Problem ist dabei, dass wir so typische sachen, wie zB die freiheitsstatue, coca cola, burger, lincoln, die amerikanische flagge, world trade centre und einsturz usw schon gemacht haben.. hat jemand villt. ne kreative idee, was man noch einbringen könnte [davon sollten auch bilder im netz zu finden sein, wenn möglich^^ und die erklärung sollte jetzt auch nicht sooo schwer fallen, da englisch nicht grad mein bestes fach ist]?^^ |

die national parcs mit dem sümpfen & co in florida, south-america (civil war, slavery...), süden(texas,cowboys...) nur so ein paar spontane ideen :-) |

Immigration, Vielnationalität, Mount Rushmore National Memorial, Yosemite National Park (Sequoia Trees?), Grand Canyon, NRA (Waffen, Waffenmissbrauch), USA als world liberator (Krieg gegen "Achse des Bösen" usw.), American Dream ("Vom Tellerwäscher zum Millionär"), Route 66, Diversität der USA (Wüsten im Süden, Kälte und Eis in Alaska, Strandidylle in Hawaii) --würde mir jetzt so spontan einfallen! |

also, ich hab jetzt cola, fast food, donuts, dicke menschen, sandwichs, die flagge, twin towers u. einsturz, las vegas, new york, freiheitsstatue, mount rushmore, route 66 und grand canyon.. kann mir villt. jemand 1-2 sätze zur bedeutung geben und noch mehr ideen einwerfen, bitte? :/ wenn mögl direkt auf englisch xD |

Also wir hatten auch mal so was und hier meine ideeen: 1. the american Dream(vom tellerwäscher zum millionär, alle gleich): America is the countrs of hope.Its the american dream that everybody can be successful if he works hard enough and if he is talented. No matter if he is black or whith, has rich or poor parents. The american dream is the reason why many people emigrate to the US, they want to realise their dreams. 2.multifacted country (facettenreiches amerika): america is so multifacted. That means that for example there is the big city life in New York or LA, the life on a farm,a wonderful life by the beaches in Florida and so on and the life of the amish.(the amish are a religious group which live like 200 years ago, that means without cars and electricity. soooo ich hoffe ich konnte dir helfen. die anish die ich in 2. erwähnt habe sind auch ein suuuuuper interessantes thema aber ich weiß nicht ob das zu eurer aufgabenstellung passt. the AMERICAN DREAM: "life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" LIFE - guns in many private homes - to protect their lives, but it could also be dangerous to have weapons in the house. accidents could happen. or even shootings at schools. but as you see, something like that can happen in Germany as well... auch "wealth & prosperity", also das streben nach reichtum gehört dazu, in diesem zusammenhang: from "rags to riches" = englisch für "vom tellerwäscher zum millionär" auch der traum nach ruhm (fame) - in diesem Zusammenhang würd ich als Beispiel sicher Hollywood nehmen.. a huge number of famous actors started their career in America. daneben aber die ganzen Schattenseiten, die man auch nicht vergessen sollte: wozu das alles führen kann: how the American Dream can go wrong: too much competition (wettbewerb), too much stress = people become ill too much power in the hands of one "man", too much (political) power concentrated in ONE country means that other countries will be dependent on(abhängig von) America (for example: worldwide economic crisis) social system is way better in other countries... in America you mostly need to pay for the doctor yourself. the state does not support (unterstützen) you. - of course there people can`t misuse social welfare (sozialhilfe) like in other countries... |
