Du musst nen Rekord gebrochen haben, soviele Fehler zu machen ist echt schwer... aber ich habs ma korrigiert^^

New York City (Big Apple) is the northest, the most popular and biggest city in the United States of America. It has an area of 780 square kilometres and consists of 5 boroughs: Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island.
Besides New York City has lots of different sights, for example the Statue of Liberty, the Empire State Building, Central Park or the 5th Avenue.
The Statue of Liberty is a large statue in the harbour of New York City and was built in 1886. It is 102 m tall an weights about 250 tons.
It was a present of France and only could arrive by ship. The Empire State Building is another famous building and was built in 18 months.
It’s the tallest building in the USA and was designed by Gregory Johnson. The Central Park is a large public park with lots of visitors every year.
But Streets, for example the Broadway or the Fifth Avenue are very popular because you can go shopping there or enjoy yourself.

Korrigiert mich, wenn ich falsch liege, aber geht der Satz vom Tempus her überhaupt?
"The Empire State Building is another famous building and was built in 18 months."
Muss da nicht Past Perfect oder sowas rein? O_o
Denn dieses "was built" gibt doch eigentlich einen ZeitPUNKT und keine Dauer an...

Mh, aber dann würde ich - auch, wenn`s nur etwas Kleines ist, klingt es irgendwie komisch... - das "in 18 months" durch "within 18 months" ersetzen...
