General facts Hallo and welcome to my presentation about Steve Jobs. This is the structure of my presentation. As you can see, my first point are genral facts about Steve. So lets start. Steven Paul Jobs was an american entrepreneur, inventor and industrial designer. He is considered one of the best known personalities of the computer industry. He was married twice and has 4 children. His net worth was estimated in march 2011 at 8,3 billion us dollar(s). My next point is his childhood. Childhood Steve Jobs was born on february 24 1955 in San Francisco. His parents put him up for adorption with the age of 6 weeks. So Steve grew up in the Santa Clara Velley, better known as Silicon Velley, as the adoptive son of Paul Jobs and Clara Jobs. Paul showed young Jobs, how to take apart and reconstruct electronics. A hobby, that instilled confidence, tenacity and mechanical prowess in steve. After skipping the fifth grade of elementary school, Jobs attended the High school. After his graduation, he dicided to went to college, but left after six weeks beacause... Lets take a look at Steve´s first contact with computers. First contact with computers With the age of 12 Steve wanted to build a frequency counter, but he did not have the right parts, so he called Bill Hewlett, co-founder of HP. Jobs asked Hewlett, if he could have the parts he needed. And not only did Hewlett gave gim the parts, he give him a sommer job at HP. In their research labs, Jobs saw the first desktop computer ever made. And he felt in love with it. Jobs said, that it was extreamly remarkable, espacially for a kid his age, that you can write something with a keyboard and this machine would take it, and give you back some results. Lets continue with his company apple. His company apple The seed of apple was sown, when a friend of Jobs and later apple co-founder Steve Woznaik showed Jobs a new computer hed made. It would become the apple one.(Bilder) Steve saw the business opportunity and they startet to sell the apple one from the Jobs family garage.(Bilder) Soon Wozniaks secound computer the apple two wich was the first computer with colourgraphycs tourned apple in a few years to a billion dollar company. Now money man and woman flooded into aplle, and jobs just 25 wasnt really taken serious by them. They demanded a new CEO and Jobs was pushed out of his own company. 10 years later Jobs sold the new company he´d founded to apple and returned as the CEO. With innovations like i Tunes, the I Pod or the I Phone into the worlds most valuable company. Today apples market value amounts 800 billion us dollar(s). Another interesting point is, how Steve Jobs changed the world. How he changed the world The competition, created from theintroduction revolutionized the technology industry. Consumers have a wider selection when they purchasing a new computer or phone. Jobs had a huge disire to bringing good thinks to people. He is the initial creator of user friendly technology. Once he donated over 50 million dollars. He contributed to a various projects, to fight AIDS. The sixth point of my presentation is his death. His death In October 2003 Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. In 2004 Jobs underwent surgery to remove it. In 2009 he had a livertransplant after his cancer had spread. With the age of 56 Steve jobs died at his Palo Alto home(Bilder) form a relapse of his pancreas cancer wich resulted in respiratory arrest. And last but not least my final words. Final words I took Steve Jobs for my presentation, because I am a huge fan of apple, but also because I am fascinated by Steve Jobs livework, and his work ethic.
