Hausübung als Vorbereitung für Schularbeit

Hallo,

könnte mit jemand den Gefallen tun die beiden Texte zu verbessern, da ich demnächst Schularbeit habe und diese sehr wichtig für meine Gesamtnote ist.

The problems in our school (Proposal)

Dear Mrs Headmaster,

The reason, why I am writing to you is that the absences in our school increases every year.
It`s a very important issue for me and in my role as the representative of the students I want to suggest ways how to improve the current situation.

The actual situation.
First of all I want to describe the situation. Every day some people are missing andnobody knows where they are. Moreover there are students who come and go like they want to and nobody cares why they have left the lesson.

The actions of the teachers
Secondly the actions of the teachers are not ok. For example there are some, who don`t care about how many people are absent and on the other hand there are teachers, who immediately call the parents of the absent people.

The reasons
Another interesting point are the reasons. In my opinion it`s possible that the students have too much homework or too much stuff to learn at home. So they sometimes stay at home to have some free-time or to do the work.

Ways to improve the situation
Finally I want to suggest ways, how to work toward improved student-attendance. First of all I would suggest that everyone, who is missing, have to bring a medical excuse. Moreover the teachers should do most work with the students at school,so that the students have more time for leisure activities, etc. at home. I think these suggestions will improve the current situation effectively.

Hello dear readers,

A few days ago I watched the film Food, Inc. It shows the big change in the methods of food production in the last years. Today the goals are the production of large quantities of food at low direct inputs. The big problems are the living conditions of the animals, which are used for the production of meat. They live in the smallest space and many of them die because of this situation.

First of all this method of food production brings a lot of consequences. Many little farmers can no longer afford their lives, because nearly everyone buys the food of the large food production companies, because of the low price. Another big problem is the quality of the food. Today the most significant thing for the consumersis a low price and nobody cares about the quality.

Secondly there are some ways how everyone can make a difference. Everyone should avoid buying food from a large company, because that’s the only effective way to do something against it. There are enough farmers, which sells bio food and everyone should buy the price for the higher quality products. Moreover there should be stronger regulations for the keeping of animals and every company,which break this rules, should have to pay strict penalties up to the closure of the company.

Finally I want to describe how my lifestyle has changed, since I have watched this film. When I go shopping I read the information sheet on every product carefully to know where it`s from. Moreover I am willing to pay the higher price for bio products, because I don`t want to eat food, which is only produced to make enormous profits at low direct inputs.
