Comparison online news/print news

There are many differences between online newspapers and printed newspapers.
Both of them have advantages and disadvantages.
Online newspapers are environmentally friendly,
resources can be saved and thy are more comfortable to read, because you don´t have these big newspaper pages in your hand like it is the case with the “Berliner Morgenpost”.
Another difference is that online newspapers can be updated immediately so they do have the newest information in contrast to printed newspaper´s which must at first be written, then printed and then distributed.
A great advantage of the online edition of news is the fact, that they include different things such as videos and radio plays, whereas printed newspapers only exist of text an pictures.
But nevertheless, the print version also has its positive points.
The biggest advantage is that they are everywhere available, also in places without internet and so suitable for people who don´t have internet or for people who can´t deal with electronic devices.
I think printed newspapers have less error´s than the online edition and the informations given are safer.
Another positive thing is that the articles are mostly longer and so have more background information.
In my opinion young people are more interested in reading news online, wheras other people prefer the more traditional printed newspaper. I think the most important thing is, that people generally are interested in news and in the end everybody should decide for either one of the editions.
