Hensius von Mayenberg: Referat korrigieren, bitte !

There are many German inventors and scientists, who have invented things, which help us in our everyday life.
One of them is Ottmar Heinsius von Mayenburg. Here you can see him. Maybe you can guess what my invention is. I will give you a tip. We use it everyday usally 3 times a day, the first time in the morning and it helps against halitosis( in German it means Mundgeruch). That´s right/wrong. My presentation is about the toothpaste.

First I want to talk about the biography of Ottmar Heinsius von Mayenberg. Then I continue with the history of the toothpaste. My third point is the strangest toothpaste today and at last my sources .

Biography
Ottmar Heinsius von Mayenberg was born on the 5 th December 1865 and died on the 24 July 1924, Schönheide is a community in Saxony’s district of Erzgebirgskreis. He studied pharmacy and botany at the University of Leipzig. After his studies he went to Dresden and worked in an apothecary. Later he had his own apothecary called the “Löwenaphotheke” Ottmar Heinsius von Mayenburg developed toothpaste as we know it today in a laboratory, but a small one in the attic above his Dresden pharmacy.

This leads me to my next point the
History of the Toothpaste
In May 1907 Ottomar Heinsius von Mayenburg began with the production of the toothpaste. He mixed tooth powder with gargle and essentail oils. The inventor thought it would be easier to use than tooth powder when you brush your teeth. He had been the first one, who sold toothpaste in a metal tin. In 1917 Ottomar Heinsius von Mayenburg had a company with over 60 laboratory technicians.
Later he set up factories not only in Germany but all over Europe and America, where the toothpaste was produced in tubes. The Chlorodont- toothpaste was available till 1989.
Although it wasn`t an original thought, as the ancient Egyptians had used a mixture of pumice and vinegar to clean their teeth and the Chinese had invented a toothbrush in 1498, the initiative to try and produce a `Zahncreme` that would not only clean and protect teeth but also have a pleasant taste was Ottomar von Mayenburg`s, using ingredients from his Loewen-Apotheke pharmacy.
Chlorodent was a peppermint flavoured paste made from a mixture of pumice powder, soap, calcium carbonate, glycerin and potassium chlorate. His invention quickly became popular around the world and is now to be found in homes world-wide.
Let me turn to my next point which is the strangest toothpaste today.
