Today I want to tell you something about the most successful band in sixties : BEATLES
Who are the Beatles?
Beatles are the world wide the most successful band!
From their beginning in 1960 until their breaking off they changed the culture of pop music very much.
They nearly broke every record of ticket sales. The members of the group are John Lennon, George Harrison, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, who was the latest join of the group.All members of the group came from Liverpool in England.
REASON WHY THEY BECOME VERY FAMOUS:
The manager Brian Epstein. He was the person, who make the Beatles very famous. Brian Epstein teach the Beatles to dress very clean, he changed their hairdress and he changed their appearance.
second reason: they found their own label.
third: Beatles was self confident, relaxed and cheeky
and the last reason is that that beatles made films.
HISTORY: July 1957 was the day, that Paul McCartney and John Lennon saw each other. Maybe this was the beginning day of the Beatles. From this day on they played together in John Lennons band “ Quarryman “ . One year later Pauls old school friend George Harrison and Pete Best also joinded into the band. After many different band names they agree on the name Beatles. The name Beatles comes from the music style Beat. In 1961 met the Beatles in Covern Club Hamburg Brian Epstein and from the date on he is the manger of beatles. One year later the manger brian epstein replaced the drummer Pete Best by Ringo Starr because he was bad.
In 1963 they had their first number 1 hit “Please, please me”. From this point on their career had become very successful. The newspapers and magazines went wild over the Beatles. The so called “Beatle mania” broke out. After they gave a concert in the US, in 1964, they became popular throughout the world. .
7 successful years later, in 1970, the Beatles had made official their break up. The last album of the band was “Let it be”. They felt, that their individual musical plans were different.
In 1980 John Lennon published, that he wants to jump out from the Beatles, so this was the official breaking off
the songs of the beatles known in the whole world and they were translated into many languages.The most songs were written by john lennon and paul mccartney .
Ringo Starr and Paul McCartney are still alive. John Lennon was shot in 1980. George Harrison died in 2001.
