The internet with a DSL or ISDN connection

Today the internet is a very important and popular subject for a lot of teenagers. You can get a lot of news, have the possibility to chat with your friends and if you have time you can play online games with other peoples on earth. These examples are advantages of the internet, but before you can use it problemlously (problemlos) anybody have to setup it.
A few years before, there was the Integrated Services Digital Network, which is called ISDN. This was one of the first possibility to go online, sending emails and calling your friends. In Norway, Denmark and Germany this way was very popular. But there was a big disadvantage in it. For all minutes, you have to pay a price for all minutes you go online or for phone. This is very bad, because peoples habe to hurry up for a lesser bill at the end of the month. In 2004 the developer have developed ISDN and have created the DSL (Digital Subscriber Line). With this new technology you can go online, faxing letters and calling other peoples simultaneously. The way how to pay it has been changed too. With a flatrate, you have to pay nearly 35 euro for going online, calling peoples in (inland) (and lesser prices for (ausland) ) unlimited. A big advantage is the speed too. For users who are downloading films and music clips have to wait about 30 minutes for a music clip. With the DSL you can downloading a music file with a highspeed download mirror in neary 2 minutes. In year 2005 there are many attractive offer like teleflat, inernetflat and movie flat included. Not only in Germany can use DSL, because at any city in Germany, (lohnt es sich der aufwand nicht,da die kosten für die freischaltung zu hoch wären)
All in one you can say that the DSL is the new way in future to go in the internet and use your phone.

so
is der gut aber was meinst du am ende mit not only in german can use dsl because at any city in germany ......?

Antwort von GAST | 04.03.2008 - 19:15
ich meine damit, dass nicht jeder das benutzen kann, weil in manchen städten nicht die leitungen verfügbar sind weil die kosten zu hoch wären und es sich nicht lohnt für den konzern

Not only in Germany can use DSL, because at any city in Germany <---
So verstehe ich was du sagen willst und würde es so weiter schreiben :
"Not everyone in Germany can use DSL, because it would not be profitable to install it in every city of Germany by reason of the high activation costs."

Den letzten Satz habe ich nicht geändert, weil ich nicht weiß, was du genau damit meinst...

Hab noch nen flüchtigkeits Fehler :"peoples >habe< to hurry up"

So und anstatt: "you have to pay >nearly< 35 euro" würde ich schreiben "about"

Und der Satzt :"calling peoples in (inland) (and lesser prices for (ausland) ) unlimited"

Würde ich schreiben: "...for going online and national calls. International calls are cheaper as normal too."

Ich würde aber nicht "peoples" schreiben, weil damit ein "Volk" gemeint ist und er meint ja Menschen/Leute und dann heißt es im Plural halt auch people
