The history of rock

Rock music is a big topic of music styles [was meinst du damit?] which has been developed in the 60s years [ich denke, hier schreibt man besser nur 60s].

Rock is popular today with a prominent vocal melody accompanied by guitar, drums and bass.
Many styles of rock use keyboards and instruments like organ, piano, mellotron and synthesizers. Other Genres of Rock utilized harmonicas, violins, flutes, banjos and timpani.
In the 50s Rock music includes Rock n Roll , Hillbilly and Blues. Bill Haleys new Cd " Rock Around the Clock" in 12.4.54 has made a breakthrough although he has created a new sound with his song "rock the Joint" in spring 52, "Rock around the Clock" and many other songs have similarities with the Afroamerican Rythm Blues. Very popular music artists were Elvis .... . A Second wave of British and American Rock bands became popular during the early 70s. Bands such as Queen .... played highly amplified, guitar-driven hard rock that would come to be know[was willst du hier sagen?] as heavy metal. In the new century the wave has changed quickly. A new wave was born. The wave of Retro Bands like ........ are coming back to the charts.
In my opinion Punk Rock is one of the best Music styles on earth.
