Hallo, ich muss meine Facharbeit in Englisch schreiben, habe aber über den Autor nur einige deutsche Artikel gefunden. Da haben sich bestimmt Fehler eingeschlichen bei mir^^, wäre sehr lieb wenn ihr es einmal durchlesen und korrigieren könntet. Aucuh Kommata-Fehler sind wichtig. Schonmal ein dickes Dankeschön im Voraus =)


The life of Stewart O’Nan
Stewart O’ Nan was born on February 4th, 1961 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and grew up in Boston. From childhood, the library was his favourite place, who allowed him the meeting with Stephen King, Ray Bradbury, Virginia Woolf and some other authors forming his development. First of all, he worked as an engineer at Grumman Aerospace at Long Island for five years, and then concentrated on the literary studies at the Master’s of Fine Arts Program in Ithaca from 1989 – 1992 and finally acquired his master’s degree in literature. Since 1990 he taught creative writing at different colleges to gain a bit more money. He wrote several books, of which some became famous. Stewart O’ Nan got the William Faulkner Prize for Snow Angles in 1993, the Drue Heinz Literature Prize for In the Walled City in 1993 and finally the Oklahoma Book Award for The Names of the Dead in 1996.
Nowadays, he lives with his wife Trudy and their two children, Caitlin and Stephen, in Avon, Connecticut.
