Usher Raymond IV is a pronounced recording artist and actor.
He rose to fame in the late 1990s with the release of his second album My Way, which spawned his first Billboard Hot 100 number-one hit, "Nice and Slow". His followup album 8701 (2001) produced the Billboard Hot 100 number-one hits "U Remind Me" and "U Got It Bad". Both albums sold over 8 million copies worldwide, establishing Usher as one of the biggest selling R&B artists of the 1990s. His album Confessions holds the record for largest weekly sales in R&B history.

Early Life

He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 14,1978
His father left him at the age of one At the age of 9 his mother forced him to join the local choir Grandmother discovered his ability to sing and how immensly talented he was. Under the belief that the city was were Usher`s talent needed to be showcased, the entire family moved to Atlanta, GA. He attended North Springs High school in Atlanta. It was there that he recorded his first album and his career sky-rocketed into success.

Usher`s business career began in 2002. He established his own record label, US Records. Under his own record label, Usher is credited with the starting and continuing of the career of teen star Justin Bieber. He opened several resteraunts locally in Atlanta as well as across the country.

He makes about $500,000,000 annually. When the line of clothing was released, it was uncertain how much profit he made, but it certainly wasn`t what is is now. Following their break-up, Usher briefly dated English model-actress Naomi Campbell in September 2004. In January 2007, he proposed to his then stylist girlfriend Tameka Foster. She has a son from when she was a teenager, as well as two sons with Atlanta clothier Ryan Glover. February 2007, Usher announced their engagement. After the sudden cancellation of a planned July wedding due to medical concerns, the two were wed on August 3, 2007 in a private ceremony. Their son Usher Raymond V was born on November 26 of the same year. On December 10, 2008, Tameka gave birth to their second child, Naviyd Ely Raymond.
