Harald and Maud: Korrektur

I think the movie "Harold and Maude" is interesting.
Satz 2: Was möchtest du da genau sagen?
The genius of the book (oder was genau willst du hier sagen?) is that Harold commits suicide and that he drives a hearse.
Usually I don`t like books which we read in school,
but I enjoyed reading that book. Harold loves to stage his suicide (klingt komisch, aber mir fällt gerade keine bessere Formulierung ein) and ..? was willst du hier sagen?
This he makes in 3 Dates, where I can see it. <- Sag mal den deutschen Satz bitte.
In the book the problem is that you cannot really visualize it. In the movie, Harry falls in love. That doesn`t happen in one of the 3 dates which he has. He fallss in love with an 80 year old woman, named Maude, that he has often seen on (?) a funeral. She was an old woman (wiederholt sich hier?!) who also often goes to a funeral and who steals cars. (Ich hab keine Ahnung in welcher zetlichen Abfolge das alles im Buch/Film geschieht, musst du selbst korrigieren.)

He proved his love, as Maude was 80-years old, then there he decorated the room from Maude with hundred sunflowers and the other nice gift was Champagne. <- Nochmal auf deutsch bitte.

He wanted / wants ? to marry her, (Musst du dir überlegen in welcher Zeit du das alles schreibst.) but he can`t do that because at the end of the book Maude commited suicide by taking sleeping pills. Consequently, Harry was awfully sad.

Ich musste dieses Buch lesen und dieser Zwang war ein Vergnügen.

He shows that in 3 dates in which you can see it clearly, because it`s hard to visualize it only by reading the book.

He proved his love as Maude had her 80. anniversary, because at that day he decorated her room with hundreds of sun flowers and also brought Champagne along.
