Wäre nett, wenn ihr meine Fehler in dem Text korrigieren würdet ;) Mein Englisch lässt leider zum Wünschen übrig!

I think that it was a bit easier to live in the 50s as in the present day.
But I don’t think that there is a big difference. In the 50s the pupils have tried to enjoy there life. Eventually the work in the school wasn’t so stressful, because the targets were not set so high. Nowadays one that crops up a lot better through life, if you have a secondary. The weapons and drugs are an issue, I think is not necessarily something new, it has been placed on hold not only in public. There were no studies or other surveys in the 1950s, but which nowadays are almost everyday.

also erst einmal fängt man nicht mit `I think` an ;) Würde `In my opinion` z.B. bevorzugen!

dann bin ich mir nicht sicher ob `in the present days` richtig is... hört sich merkwürdig an... vllt anstatt dessen einfach `as today`!?

Zweite Zeile ` In the 50s the pupils...` meinst du pupil- also Schüler? oder Menschen/Leute- also people!?

dein vorletzter satz.. `The weapons and drugs are an issue,` und dann `I think` !? das passt nicht^^ an das komma würde ich dann `which are not necessarily something new` ranhängen.

soo... dann zum letzten satz;) mit dem nebensatz... was willst du damit sagen!? sowas in der art wie ` die es heute aber meist täglich gibt`!? .. hört sich ein bisschen merkwürdig an^^ würde eher sagen `1950s, which are nowadays almost normally`
sowas in der art....

hoffe das hilft ein kleines bisschen bin jetzt ja auch nich gerade der experte schlechthin ;)

Ich meine schon pupil, also schüler ;)
Das wäre dann der neue Text:

I think (I am of the opinion) that it was a bit easier to live in the 50s as today. But I don’t think that there was a big difference. In the 50s pupils tried to enjoy their lives. Work at school wasn’t possibly that stressful, because the goals were not set so high. Nowadays you will be more successful in life, if you have had better secondary school qualifications. The use of weapons and drugs are an issue among young people today, but I think that this is not necessarily something new, perhaps the public was not informed that freely about these problems by the media then. . I am not sure if there were any studies or other surveys on these problems in the 1950 as there are nowadays .

I think it was sligtly easier to live in the 50s than nowadays, although the difference doesen`t appear to be too greatly.
Work at school seemed less stressful as the targets set, weren`t as high as these days.
Without a secondary education you seems to struggle more through live these days.
Also drugs, violence and crime seem to be a greater issue these days, or is it just because everything is more publicised now. Have there been any studies and surveys about these problems in the 50s?
