this report ist bade on the developements in the mobile phone industry in a western european country from 1996 to 2000.
the line graph shows a huge decrease in mobile hone users in the period from 1996 to 2000. The mobile phone user numbers arise from 5.5millions users in 1996 to 49 millions users in 2000. Between 1999 and 2000 the number of users nearly doubled from 24.5 millions to 49 millions users.
according to the bar charts, there is also an increase in work places created from 1996-2000. In 1996 there was an amount of 15 thousand work places created.This rate increased exponentially until it reached 34 thousands created work places in 2000. In the bar chart an increase of the turnover in this mobile phone industry is indicated. The turnover nearly trippeled from 1996 zo 2000. In 1996 the the turnover accounteed 7 billions euros, whereas it arises to 19 billion euros in 2000.
It is clear that the number of mobile phone users rises continually. Consequently more work places are being created and a huge revival in the turnover is recorded.
