Bitte Korrektur-lesen für Englisch

Ich hab hier ne Aufgabe bekommen und ich fänd es echt super, wenn mir einer den Text korrektur lesen könnte... Ich hab sicherlich noch einige Fehler drinnen... besonders (so denke ich) was die Zeit betrifft... Wär klasse, wenn ihr mir helfen könnt ^^ Danke schon mal im vorraus!

2. What do you think was so entertaining about bear-baiting?

1a) Paul Hentzer says about the theatre performances, that at first the bears are kept hold behind and then get annoyed by great English dogs and another large type of dogs. Wounded or tired dogs are instantly supplied in the places from rested ones. After this often follows a blinded bear, which got whiped from five or six men, standing in a circle around the bear, and torment him without pardon. Moreover he can not escape because he got chained, but if someone got in his reach he tears the whip out of the hand and breaks them.

1b) The theatre audiences were smoking Nicotian weed and they can buy fruits, such as apples, pears and nuts like in a cinema today. They also could buy wine and ale. The theatres had numerous audiences and it gave excessive applause of those that were present.

2) The entertaining about bear-baiting was probable the excitement that someone could get hurt or even be killed. So it is possible to see blood in a legal way. For the fighter it was a win against the nature and they can prove thier courage. So it was the joy of sensation and the malicious pleasure which entertains the audiences. Also it is possible that they could make bets and earn money, what entertains them.
